Leading Mexico was Veronica Charlyn Corral has she scored twice in Extra Time, putting Mexico on top in the 4-2 victory over Trinidad & Tobago.
Striking first in the 24th minute was Sandra Stephany Mayor of Mexico as she put away Corral’s left-wing feed from 12-yards out to make it 1-0.
Trinidad leveled the scored at 1-1 in the 57th minute. Forward Ahkeela Mollon lifted in a cross from the right side that Kennya Cordner headed past goalkeeper Pamela Tajonar.
T&T took the lead in the 78th minute. A left-side cross from Cordner deflected off Brianna Ryce in front of the goal and went to Mariah Shade, who made to 2-1 for the island nation.
Less than a minute later, Mexico locked the match up at 2-2. Mayor launched a right-sided cross that Monica Ocampo headed in.
Mexico and T&T finished the 90 minutes at 2-2 and Veronica Charlyn Corral added two stellar goals in ET to put Mexico into the World Cup.
